Horn & Hardart - Horn & Hardart is a company that came to prominence as the proprietors of the first automat in New York City.
Horn (instrument) - The horn is a brass instrument that consists of tubing wrapped into a coiled form. The instrument was first developed in France in about 1650 from the cor de chasse or hunting horn, and has been known as the French horn since it was refined and improved in England in 1750, although musicians, and particularly players of the instrument, generally refer to it simply as the horn.
Horn speaker - A horn speaker is a speaker that uses a "horn" to get more sound (volume) from the driving loudspeaker. The horn itself does not amplify anything, but rather improves the coupling between the speaker driver (typically made of paper or, more recently, more exotic materials such as titanium) and the air (which has a very low density).
Alto horn - Known in the US as alto horn, in Germany as althorn, and in the UK as tenor horn, this brass instrument pitched in Eb has a conical bore (gradually widening), and normally uses a deep, cornet-like mouthpiece. It is most commonly used in marching bands, brass bands and similar ensembles, whereas the French horn tends to take the corresponding parts in symphonic groupings and classical brass ensembles.
